Preface

I am happy to present the book titled “Communication Skills in English”. Communication Skills plays a vital role of a window for any individual who wishes to explore the world as it connects people across the world that enables us to gain knowledge and hence it is the most valuable object. Communication means to exchange ideas, thoughts, fact, feelings and knowledge for personal and professional purposes. The book “Communication Skills in English” is specially made keeping the need of Gujarat state students. At any given moment around the world, people are communicating. They are using different languages, but the desired result is the same to understand and to be understood. When I embarked on writing this book I felt overwhelmed by the vastness of communication issues. What should I include and what should I omit? The topic was limitless.

This book uses an integrated approach. The aim was to ensure flexibility and ongoing usability. This book is essential for ambitious professionals and aspiring executives. I believe that this book provides the resources that students and faculties may not previously have had access to in one format and I look forward to receive feedback for future improvement. This book is a practical guide and workbook for higher education. It covers all the most important aspects of effective oral and written communication. I hope students find this book valuable. Best wishes to beloved students!
